We had a delightful visit with my mom and dad this weekend and it was nice for Mike to be around all of us. We showed off his new place of employment and his duplex to the grandparents on Sunday and he seems to be dealing with the breakup pretty well. Jesi threw a great party for AJ on Saturday with lots of friends and family. This year AJ knew what presents were and was anxiously awaiting the opportunity to rip into them. His real birthday is Friday so I am sure the excitement of turning 3 will last all week.

Happy Birthday AJ ! What a big boy he is getting to be. How fun for Jesi to be able to hostess a big party. I am glad Mike is doing well and it sounds like he really likes his new job and home. One foot in front of the other. Love to all. How was the trip to Italy?
The big "3" WOW!! I know what you mean about the presents - Davis at his second birthday was just as enamored with the balloons as he was the gifts!
