Happy Saint Patricks Day
On Sunday night we were able to watch the space shuttle from Bradenton. We actually watched the TV broadcast of lift off and then went outside and within a minute could see the intense orange flame and contrails. Of course I did not have my camera then but after it disappeared from sight I went back in and was able to still take these shots of the remaining contrails. It is quite amazing that from over 150 miles away we were able to see this event. It makes going to see a live liftoff something that would be even more amazing. I might have to put that on the bucket list.

Happy St. Patrick's day to you too. I'm sitting at my home office desk, drinking green beer and admiring my new hand-crafted pencil holder (which, as you know, is a funky shade of green). Glad you're having a nice trip. Tell your parents we said hello, and see you soon.
